New Plymouth, 13/11/2024 — The Taranaki Airs are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Head Coach Sam Mackinnon for an additional two years, solidifying his role with the team through the 2026 season. This decision reflects the Airs’ commitment to continuity, growth, and the pursuit of excellence as Coach Mackinnon continues to bring his wealth of experience and vision to the court.
Since joining the Airs, Mackinnon has fostered an inspiring culture of teamwork and dedication, guiding the team to new heights. His influence has been instrumental in establishing a competitive edge, particularly among the talented local players, whose growth and commitment have been a testament to his leadership.
